The Villa Le Grotte, independent and for up to 8 guests, is located directly on the sea in front of the Gulf of Portoferraio with a large terrace overlooking the sea with table, chairs, sun loungers, umbrellas for unforgettable outdoor holidays by the sea.
The Villa lies in the ‘Golfo delle Grotte’, with a suggestive view of Portoferraio and its Medici Fortresses and a few steps from the archaeological site of an ancient Roman villa. From the nearby little beach, a jetty allows the mooring of small boats and a characteristic round wooden platform, directly over the water, with sun beds and umbrellas, are available for the guests of the villa.
The lower level of the villa offers guests a large living room (with a sofa bed) and a dining area with sea view. From the living room and the dining area you reach the terrace through a large sliding window door. On the same level there is also a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
3 steps only are leading to an upper level where guests find a fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds as well as an additional bathroom with shower.
Portoferraio with its port, the Calata, restaurants, bars, shops, boutiques, markets, summer events is less than 10 minutes away by car. But also the famous villages of the island of Elba such as Capoliveri and Porto Azzurro can be reached in less than 20 minutes (10 km).
The long sandy beaches of Biodola and Procchio are 9 km away.
The Villa is ideal for families, or a group of friends, who love the sea and the comfort and outdoor life during the holidays.
Pets allowed on request and payment.
The rental price includes utilities, bed linen and towels with weekly change and final cleaning.
On arrival there is a € 300 security deposit to be payed.

The house is right on the water with a great view of the city and almost private access. If you are looking for peace and privacy, this is the place for you. Kitchen equipment is plentiful. Stores can be reached by car. The rooms with turquoise floors have been renovated. There is a great natural floor in both. We would come again. Thank you.

Vue absolument extraordinaire. Certainement la plus belle que l’on puisse trouver sur l’île d’Elbe. On pourrait passer la journée sur un transat tellement c’est sublime. Et c’est à dix minute de Portoferraio, qui est également magnifique, et donc hypsee more

Seul détail : très peu d’équipements pour la cuisine et la maison semble un peu vide, les propriétaires ont fait le minimum pour rendre la maison chaleureuse. Mais l’extérieur compense !

Wir haben die Urlaubswoche mit unseren 3 Kindern sehr genossen. Der Weg in die diversen Orte war mit dem PKW gut erreichbar. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett. Die Lage direkt am Meer hat den Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht.

Haus mit geschmackvoller Einrichtung, schöne Bäder und Küche, allgemein eine spannende Architektur aus den 60er. Optimale Aufteilung für Eltern und zwei Kinder die je ein eigenes Zimmer wollen, Terrasse mit direktem Blick auf Portoferraio. Sehr ruhigsee more
Haus mit geschmackvoller Einrichtung, schöne Bäder und Küche, allgemein eine spannende Architektur aus den 60er. Optimale Aufteilung für Eltern und zwei Kinder die je ein eigenes Zimmer wollen, Terrasse mit direktem Blick auf Portoferraio. Sehr ruhige Umgebung, kein Strassenlärm da Sackgasse. Zufahrt ist eng, 5er Combi BMW geht knapp an den Mauern vorbei. Garage zu niedrig für Dachbox jedoch ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Haus. Steg und Aufenthaltsbereich vorm Haus direkt am Wasser, super Bademöglichkeit (SUP) jedoch kein Liegestrand. Mit dem SUP in ca. 10-15 Minuten beim Strand El Sombrero, der sehr nett liegt mit Park und Schatten und Kiosk mit Essen und trinken. Die Klimaanlage kühlt nicht, dadurch Schlafen nur bei offenen Fenstern auszuhalten im Hochsommer. Hornissennest im Baum auf Terrasse und viele Wespen, wenn man draussen Fleisch isst. Man darf kein Essen in der Küche stehen lassen, sonst kommen Ameisen. Die Nachbarn haben Hunde, die oft bis spät Nachts bellen. Vor allem bei Blaulicht, was auf Elba stündlich ist. Der Grill ist eher nicht brauchbar. Lage unschlagbar trotz engem Weg und Haus super schön, deshalb trotz der genannten Mängel sehr zu empfehlen! Wir würden das Haus wieder mieten wenn die Preise gleich bleiben.

Sowohl von der weitläufigen Terrasse am Haus, wie auch von der privaten Terrasse direkt am Meer lässt sich der wunderbare Ausblick auf die Bucht von Portoferraio und die Stadt selbst genießen. Von der Straße im Hinterland hört man praktisch nichts. Die Badezimmer und die Küche sind modern. Einzig die Matratze im master bedroom könnte erneuert werden. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und planen wieder zu kommen.

Villa The Boat is located directly on the sea in the wonderful bay of Scaglieri and from its terraces there is a breathtaking panoramic view of the bay, the Gulf of Biodola and the open sea. The sea and the splendid sunsets can also be admired from the inside of the house due to its large windows that open onto unforgettable panoramas. From the recently renovated Villa, you can directly reach the sea and the rocks below the house or the fine sandy beach of Scaglieri which is just 150 meters away.
Villa The Boat is spread over three levels, all with direct access to the terraced Mediterranean garden directly overlooking the sea. The terraces are equipped with garden furniture, tables and chairs, deck chairs and umbrellas to enjoy every moment outside under the sun. A covered terrace with splendid views, table and chairs allows you to eat outdoors all day long.
On the ground floor you find a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a large, fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living room which opens onto a furnished terrace with a panoramic view of 360 degrees and a 'service' bathroom. A comfortable staircase leads to the first floor with a bedroom with two single beds and its en-suite bathroom. From the entrance of the villa you reach the lower ground floor with another double bedroom and its en-suite bathroom. The fourth bedroom, that can be reached from the ground floor is independent and not connected with the other rooms and offers a double bed as well as a double sofa bed (ideal for two children) and a private en-suite bathroom.
The Scaglieri beach offers all desired beach services and guests can find restaurants, pizzerias, bars and a small mini-market in Scaglieri.
