Description
At about 20 meters from the sea this elegant and independent apartment for up to 4 guests is located inside a villa on the sea in the Gulf ‘delle Grotte’. The apartment is surrounded by greenery and has a large shaded furnished terrace and a wisteria pergola equipped with table and chairs to enjoy outdoor holidays in complete relaxation.
A large and bright veranda leads directly to the living room with its well-equipped kitchenette. In the living room, with air conditioning, there is also the sofa bed, a table with chairs and a TV corner. From here you have also access to a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
Guests have also the possibility of using the 13x6 pool of the manor house (in common with the owners).
The house overlooks the Gulf ‘delle Grotte’ and offers a fantastic view of the suggestive panorama of Portoferraio and its Medici Fortresses. A few steps away is the archaeological site of an ancient Roman villa. From the nearby little beach a pier allows the mooring of small boats.
The apartment offers a taken care of and elegant interior design and furnishing. Access times to the pool are: in the morning from 09.00 to 13.00 and in the afternoon from 16.00 to 19.30.
Portoferraio with its port, the Calata, restaurants, bars, shops, boutiques, markets, summer events is less than 10 minutes away by car. But also famous villages of the island of Elba such as Capoliveri and Porto Azzurro can be reached in less than 20 minutes (10 km). The long sandy beaches of Biodola and Procchio are 9 km away.
The Villa is ideal for families, or a group of friends, who love the sea and the comfort and outdoor life during the holidays.
The rental price includes consumption, bed linen and towels with weekly change, final cleaning. On arrival, a deposit of € 250 is required.

We stayed here for one week with our two young children. It is the perfect location to discover the island and very close to Portoferraio offering many shops and restaurants. The cottage was very comfortable and the aircon was much appreciated. The gardens are beautiful and very well looked after. One bedroom of the cottage has a separate access and is not connected to the rest of the cottage, so we ended up using the sofa bed for our kids. The saltwater pool was great and very enjoyable. As was the little stone beach only meters away where we did some fishing in the evening. There are two large but friendly dogs on the property. They freely roam the property and often visit the cottage. We had a very nice stay and fully enjoyed our time on Elba.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft. Schöne Laube mit Gartengarnitur, sogar ein Griller wäre vorhanden. Die Ausziehcouch für die 3 und vierte Person sind in Ordnung., ein Bett wäre natürlich bequemer. Man hat einen großen Garten und Zufahrt auch hier sind noch Ssee more
Wunderschöne Unterkunft. Schöne Laube mit Gartengarnitur, sogar ein Griller wäre vorhanden. Die Ausziehcouch für die 3 und vierte Person sind in Ordnung., ein Bett wäre natürlich bequemer. Man hat einen großen Garten und Zufahrt auch hier sind noch Sitzgelegenheiten. Mit Kleintieren wie Mücken oder Ameisen muss man allerdings rechnen. In der Unterkunft aber Gelsenstecker und Ameisenspray vorhanden. Die Haus eigenen Hunde laufen frei herum, daher sollte man keine Angst haben vor Hunden und auch kein Essen draußen stehen lassen. Pool ist sehr groß, mit Sprungbrett und Schwimmerbereich. Die Zufahrt zur Unterkunft ist eine enge steile Straße , also mit großem Auto und Radanhänger ist ein wenig Fahrkönnen gefordert. Super Unterkunft ,schöne Lage, aber man sollte ein Auto oder Rad haben um die Umgebung zu erkunden.

A savoir, il n'y a pas moyen d'occulter les fenêtres donc on est éveillées tôt en été. Nous avons eu un gros problème de voiture et notre hôte a été d'une grande aide pour nous trouver une nuit d'hôtel car nous avons dû prolonger notre séjour d'une nuit et elle nous a en plus gentiment conduites jusqu'à l'hôtel. Nous espérons revenir un jour dans de meilleures conditions.

Siamo stati benissimo, la casa spaziosa e accogliente, la piscina bellissima nella quale siamo sempre stati soli : i proprietari sono davvero molto discreti. Peccato non aver fatto un bagno di notte, quando è illuminata (solo perché le giornate di mare ci stancavano troppo) La villa e il parco, curatissimo e pieno di una grande varietà di piante e fiori, disposti con molto gusto, sono stati un vero piacere per gli occhi. I due cani dei proprietari, simpaticissimi e coccoloni, ci hanno fatto sempre piacevole compagnia. Posizione tranquillissima e strategica per raggiungere molte zone dell'isola. Abbiamo anche apprezzato la piattaforma sul mare, perfetta per romantici aperitivi al tramonto. Ottima esperienza da 5 stelle.

Wir haben besonders, den Pool genossen. Leider gab es dort sehr viele Mücken und andere stechende Insekten. Anzumerken ist noch, dass das getrennt liegende extra Schlafzimmer nicht abschließbar ist.

Le Grotte ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit toller Lage, einem sehr schönen Außenbereich und guter Ausstattung. Der separate Eingang des zweiten Schlafzimmers plus Badezimmer ist für eine Belegung zweier Paare großartig. Der Pool des Anwesens ist groß und liegt in einem sehr schönen Garten. Zu erwähnen ist, dass wir zu Beginn unserer Woche eine Verschmutzung des Pools gemeldet haben und sofort reagiert wurde. Danke dafür!! |

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche auf Elba. Das Haus ist super gelegen, der Pool und die Gartenalage sind wunderschön. Da wie kein italienisch sprechen hatten wir fast keinen Kontakt zu den Gastgebern.
